It is sourced from local farms & stables and turned regularly at our yard, over many months, to make our easy to use low odour rich dark compost.
Backhurst Farmyard Manure Compost is a natural product, and is a perfect fertiliser for the organic gardener.
It is suitable for digging into Topsoil to use as a soil improver, enriching tired soils, holding moisture and increasing fertility.
For best results apply Backhurst Farmyard Manure Compost, 3 inches deep, over the surface of the soil and fork it in at a depth of 6-8 inches.
We deliver in loose tipped loads from 1m3 up to 15m3 lorry loads
